Interesting project, but I expect it to produce low amount of energy. www.technologyreview.com/s/537721/bladeless-wind-turbines-may-offer-more-form-than-function/Imagine windmill, without actual blades, just the tower. Wind will still shake it, and that is how energy will be produced. I am wondering if Solar Wind can be used for such construct in vacuum. Probably too weak to bend even weakest material, but maybe one-sided Solar Sails can be used in something like watermill?

I´m keeping an eye on Vortex from very beginning, I´d like to install Vortex Atlantis at my cottage (when commercially available), but I think it will not work with solar wind as it´s based on dynamic of kinetic energy which is not really high there...
For "watermill" you have to have "fix point" to be able to use the solar wind....
